Lissa Friedman is a nationally recognized artist, showing in several renowned galleries and in numerous private collections. She has exhibited her work in many of the most prestigious juried art shows, and has won several awards.
An accomplished artist and New York native, Friedman has several years, formal training in the Old Masters style. Her moving, sensitive pieces reflect a spiritual connection to her subjects; capturing light and dark in the most natural sense. Her work is in many private collections and is represented by several galleries.
She is a member of Oil Painters of America, and Landscape Artists International.
In addition, Friedman teaches classical oil painting at her studio on Newnans Lake, in Gainesville, Florida. Her classes include still lives, landscapes, and live models.
